Cinema is a complex art form and requires discipline, intelligence and sensitivity. Music has always been a key component of films and has been an inseparable part of film history. Michel Lam is a director and composer of film scores, and will be presenting an overview of the history of film music, accompanied by a practical exercise demonstrating the importance of music in cinema. This workshop is made possible with the involvement of the Institut National de l’Image et du Son (INIS).
